Gushing out and mingling, then such a sudden hello -- ahahahaha, b-b-b-birthday Getting more and more ill, even if the corners of my eyes get damp -- I am happy! As long as you're alive, see, it's Just how it goes, just how it goes, just how it goes Even if I don't remember asking anyone, ahahahaha -- I was born into this world Even if they gouge out an awful, blood-dripping birthmark onto me -- I am happy! As long as you're alive, see, it's Just how it goes, just how it goes, just how it goes. Lalalalala Let the blade of virtue that bloomed in red shade me, shade me from the meaning of existence Oh servant, at the end of your prison, your karma is to spin, spin such a worthless life Aah Breach! Becoming cynical's, 1 2 3, just so painful, right? Becoming desperate, that's life, life, life, life!! Dissect! Sew through this heart 2 2 3, and make this trashy future shine bright, shine bright Messing up the eye-measurement, then such a sudden hello -- ahahahaha, festering and bearing it Tearfully wavering, as long as I pick the option to "live" -- I am happy! This world is paradise, see? That's Just how it goes, just how it goes, just how it goes. Lalalalala The painting of such immorality was cut through in crimson -- fulfill your obligation of existence, fulfill it The servant's karma is to seek out, seek out such a futile light at the end of the curse Aah Breach! Becoming cynical's, 1 2 3, just so painful, right? Becoming frantic, that's life, life, life, life!! Error! Getting all covered in mud, 2, 2, 3, just expose the empty, empty future, expose it Aah Breach! A bright-red wound, 1, 2, 3, getting stepped on and kicked aside, still, that's life, life, life, life!! In reality that heart is already scattered, 2, 2, 3, so just hide that trashy self, hide it Three cheers for this flame now, existing in solitude for one's whole life, submitting an objection statement to that pain, such tedious stuff is out of the question, just kill it all All the illness gathered within this body, an expression lost in hell itself, this deteriorating state of affairs grows cold, a lifesaving injury unable to reach With that body become a spectacle for the world, an ironic proof of coexistence, a phenomenon of hypocrisy spreading rampantly, the extinction of struggling for life Life's a hundred years at most, that's the conclusion everyone ends up at, yet still we live so persistently, simply baffled at such a neverending contradiction Defection! Going and crawling on all fours, 1, 2, 3, what an awful scene -- there's not, not, not even an exit in sight Arrhythmic! A rapidly deteriorating heart, 2, 2, 3, hey, it hurts, right? Hey, hey... Aah Breach! Becoming cynical's, 1 2 3, just so painful, right? Becoming desperate, that's life, life, life, life!! Dissect! Sew through this heart 2 2 3, and make this trashy future shine bright, shine bright Aah Such a huge red X mark, 1, 2, 3, getting stepped on and kicked aside, still, that's life, life, life, life!! In reality that heart is already scattered, 2, 2, 3, so make that trashy future shine bright, shine bright, expose it, expose it, just destroy it, destroy it!! TN: "que sera" is Spanish, more accurately translates to "what will it be?" but in Japanese "que sera sera" is a pretty well known phrase basically just meaning "It is what it is" and I think in this song it's just a shortened version of que sera sera... so i translated as that. as usual kairiki songs are extremely vague. there's basically no subject here so you can read it as the singer speaking to someone or speaking about themselves. main thing here is a lot of imagery regarding the human body medically/scientifically and being born, contrasting the title of "angel" (heavenly being)... I generally read this song about being more about the singer speaking of their own pain from a more detached viewpoint? I tried to keep the subject vague as much as possible but some lines just don't make sense if you do that (e.g. the shiawase desu part really reads as a stiff affirmation that the singer is Happy and Nothing is wrong because that's just life -- so I translated it as "I am happy!" because I tend to use less formal language in the rest of the song so suddenly putting it as "I am" and not "I'm" adds a stiff sort of feeling... also in parts of the song it transitions to "it's painful" rather than "i'm happy" and also is written in katakana at parts adding to the extremely stiff and unnatural feeling of the line. if you want to experience this song fully you need to just learn Japanese. sorry. why did it capitalize that. my notepad man...) also the words that are like "Defection!" placed at the start of a lot of lines in the chorus are kind of like, disconnected? from the rest of the statement, I feel... It feels more natural in the Japanese version I think kairiki just does this a lot.
